Re: Robert Pattinson
People with the current success of all the Twilight movies do you actually think Robert has the time to answer the thousand of letters he surely gets everyday? I honestly don't think he has to time to sign all the autograph requests he gets TTM. Besides I have always said unless you see that certain person sign in front of you how can you 100% be sure its real? Basing with all this and that I just got Robert in person at a talk show recently. I would say fake. The signatures I got at the talk show looked NOTHING like your friends TTM. And I had Robert personalize so he did take his time.

Sorry but I disagree with everything you said there (and no, I'm not a stubborn fangirlbud simpson wrote:People with the current success of all the Twilight movies do you actually think Robert has the time to answer the thousand of letters he surely gets everyday? Firstly, just to clear this for once and for all: Rob does not sign all of his mail, at all!! I know of countless people who've been waiting for more than a year now, many of my friends sent to him and nothing. He only replies to some of his letter, but certainly not all! So yes, in fact he would have time to get to reply to some (interviews below).
Second, in person signatures do match to the TTM ones - but I truly hope one doesn't look at the "R" he signs in person and then think but the TTM ones do not like like me super rushed R (not referring to you here bud simpson! ;) ). Let me show you some more clear examples, so it's easier to see:

Authentic signed trading card:

Now, compare to these TTM ones:

Look at the writing, particularly the "a", "m" and the "R", as well as the "Best Wishes" part. Lastly, look at the "Rob" part in the first photo and see below:

Exact same way he signed "Rob", coincidently as well a TTM autograph... Still in doubt? He handwrites the addresses on the envelopes, see this envelope:

Another very old TTM one...

A much newer TTM ones:

A very old TTM one, and a more recent one (look at the "Rob" part):

Obviously much more rushed post-Twilight, but it's obvious to see it's the same signing pattern...
TTM filled out questionnaire:

Oh and coincidently, back in 2006 he would answer questions at the back of photos, and the TTM successes haven't changed a bit since 2006 (when he was only known for being Cedric Diggory in one Harry Potter movie, with a cameo in the 5th):
Here's a scan of that success received January 26, 2006:

These are not even half of the scans I have, but you can compare the ones provided. All I want to know is this: how come no one doubted his TTM autographs when he was just a young actor who played Cedric in "Harry Potter", who signed TTM back in 2006 and would answer questions on photos, etc.? But forward 2 years, and you have "Twilight": now suddenly all of his TTM autographs, even the old ones, have "magic" into secretarials (I'd love to hear by "whom"...). All of the young HP kids (except the main 3) have always been such great signers, still today, such as Matthew Lewis (and he's a HP regular, and he's at the same agency as Rob). Sorry but it sounds highly unlikely that back when he was Cedric, he's have a sec signing, and seeing as his TTM ones haven't changed at all, it's clearly signed by the same person, meaning Rob.
What Rob says about his fan mail - from interviews:
From LA Times 2008 interview with Rob:
From Glamour Magazine (Germany) 2010:Do you read the fan mail?
Yeah. I do that quite a lot actually, because I get batches sent from London. I go through tons and tons of it at a time. I get sent some good stuff. I’ve gotten some really good books. I had this amazing thing made by a fan website, this really amazing bound book with all of these notes inside it. I mean, it must have taken ages to make. I remember thinking, "Why?" (laughs). But, no, it was amazing. Someone sent me a book I’m reading right now, a book of Charles Baudelaire poems. I thought, "Wow, I was going to buy that." That was nice.
Do you have a team that helps you wade through or do you go through it all yourself?
I go through it myself, but I think I might get them censored, because I’m always expecting to get the one thing that says, "I know where you live and I’m going to kill you!" I’m always expecting that to come, but it never seems to arrive. I never get any negative mail, so someone must be censoring them.
Oh and just really look at this one again: this is signed for charity, and it was mailed to his agency:Are you replying you fan mail by yourself?
I’ll try, yes. When I’m at home in L.A. or staying with my parents in London. Taking some time get on of those boxes, which stand over a year at the agency. So if somebody gets an answer by me it’ll be rather late. I do keep all of these letters but I cannot answer more than 40 in a row.

Clearly this is authentic, and please show me how it's different to the TTM ones... Even the "Patt" part is identical style to the TTM autographs! See this old TTM one:

I truly hope this discussion could reach an end someday soon about his (now very rare) TTM replies... I doubt it will.
