Hi I am collecting for a charity called Acorns which is a childrens hospice and I have noticed a few people have recieved things via email, I wondered how I could find these emails as its starting to cost alot in postage costs and I have nothing to show for it so far :(
Thanks for any help :D

Hi acorns, :mrgreen:
There are only a few celebrities that reply with authentic autographs via email.
One of these is Dame Judi Dench; I've recieved her autograph 3 times (for various people) using the email address in the Fanmail.biz database.
However, you can recieve a large amount of PrePrints through Studio Fan Mail (check out the board dedicated to SFM).

If you are after authentics then I suggest you check through the boards for celebrities that you are after or look up those celebrities and check if they have an email address or even email their agency and explain your situation.
They may be quite generous considering you are collecting for charity.
Please PM me for further help.

Hi Acorns {up}

From experience the 'email route' is a lot less successful than via mail, as increasingly celebs and their agents are becoming less happy about paying all the return postage.

Over the years I have been collecting for charity, I would say that less than 2% of my successes have been via email.

My advice to you would be to have a look at the Feedback forum to see which celebrities respond to email, and then give those a try. Unfortunately we cannot post an email list on here as it will just get spammed. :?

Good luck with your collecting!

Out of curiosity, which harry potter stars did sign for your charity?

Might i suggest CNN reporters and perhaps some Junior stars like Diandra Newlin who I am sure would gladly sign for charity.

Wish you the best of luck for supporting Acorns!

Cheers
