We had an amazing time!!
The Next Generation (TNG) was our favourite of the series' (with Deep Space Nine a close second for me) and it was such an amazing day to meet so many of the cast and have our photo taken with them and autographs from them.
We got to the convention at 8:00am, doors opened at 08:30am and after queuing to get in and receiving our wristbands we headed to the Vendors Hall for a look around until our first Photo Op with Armin Shimmerman, Max Grodenchik and Aron Eisenberg aka Quark, Rom and Nog.
Our next Photo Op wasn't until 11:30am so we went back ionto the Vendors Hall for a proper look around this time!
We were looking at all the merchandise when out of the corner of my eye I spotted actor Richard Kiel aka jaws from James Bond!
He was such a lovely man and me and my husband both had our photo taken with him and got an autograph.
We then saw actor Glenn Morshower.
I best know Mr Morshower for playing Aaron Pierce in 24, but he has also played numerous roles in Star Trek and does the voice of Overlord in Call of Duty.
We ended up talking to him for about 20 minutes and getting some autographs and our photo taken with him.
He was such a gentelman and had lots of stories to tell and plenty of time. It didn't feel rushed at all.
I was feeling hungry so we heading out for a sandwich and then went to our next Photo Op which was with the lovely Kate Mulgrew aka Captain Janeway.
She was so lovely and shook our hands as we went to have our photo taken with her.
We hung around eating the rest of our lunch because our next Photo Op was at 12:15pm and was with Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner aka Riker and Data!!!
As much as I enjoyed meeting everyone, I have to say I think that these two were my highlight

They picked up on our English accents and were so lovely and funny!
There was jazz music playing in the background as we were having the Photo Op and they were dancing and singing between photos.
After that amazing experience we got out of the Photo Op room and headed to the main theatre where JG Hertzler and Robert O'Reilly were on stage talking.
They were very funny and it was quite different to see them out of makeup!
Back in the Vendors hall we managed to catch Jonathan Frakes signign and there was barely a queue, so we jumped in and got his autograph.
He remembered us and our names from our earlier Photo Op! Which was stunning!
At 2:05pm was the Star Trek:The Next Generation's 25th Anniversary Reunion: Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Colm Meaney, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, LeVar Burton, and Michael Dorn were all on stage together. They all seem to get on really well together.
Most of the fan questions we aimed towards Marina, and I would have liked to hear some of the others speak more, but it was all great!
Brent Spiner did an amazing impression of Sir Patrick Stewart, who unfortunately was not there

We then went for some more food and caught some of the Costume Parade Pre-Judging before our next Photo Op at 4:30pm with Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis.
As we walked up Jonatahan Frakes commented "Oh, I love this couple!" to Marina.

She showed us her tattoo of Tottenham Hotspur on her shoulder and asked us where we were from.
We said Norfolk and she said "oh, you don't really have a football team". To whcih I replied "Norwich City".
She laughed and said "like I said, you don't have a team." I said we were Premier League, to which she conceded with another laugh!
We went into the Vendors halla gain as most of the TNG cast had assembled for autographs.
The first one we got was John DeLancie aka Q!!
Such a thrill to meet him. When we saw him he looked very tired and had bloodshot eyes, but still graciously signed our photo.
We then went for Brent Spiner.
Brent was charming as always, remembering us from our earlier Photo Op.
When we told him we wouldn't be able to mkae the London Star Trek convention in October he seemed genuinely disappointed.
We asked him about his webseries (Fresh Hell) and he gave us a card with details about it.
We then got Marina's autograph.
We had to requeue for Michael Dorn as he had ran out of photographs, so we had to pop to a vendor in the hall and buy a photograh and then go back to him.
At 6:05 pm we had our Photo Op with Michael Dorn aka Worf.
The queue for him was really short and we got through very quickly, but he was super nice.
There were more people queuing when he had a Photo Op with him and Marina.
As I sat eating, my husband went back into the Vendors hall to get LeVar Burton's autograph.
We then had our Photo Op with LeVar Burton and Colm Meaney aka Geordi La Forge and O'Brien at 7:00 pm.
They were both lovely men and very open and warm.
7:20 pm was our last Photo Op of the day with Gates McFadden aka Dr Beverly Crusher.
She was dancing along to the music in the background.
The people infront of us had young children and she was great with the kids!!
We then headed home. We had an amzing day and I just wanted to share my experience with you all.
Photos of the autographs can be found on my Facebook page in my signature under " STAR TREK Autographs" and "ACTORS Autographs Part 1"
Feel free to have a look and "like"
