James Arnold Taylor
"Star Wars: The Clone Wars" - Obi-Wan Kenobi, Plo Koon, etc.
The way Disney has it set up, you must have a Fastpass to guarantee getting an autograph, and you can only get one Fastpass. You also have to be willing to show up pretty early...I got there at 6 AM, and the lines for Jake Lloyd, Catherine Taber, and Silas Carson were already huge! Luckily, I had already decided I wanted to meet James Arnold Taylor, a very talented voice actor and a funny guy! Got my Fastpass, enjoyed the park, then lined up to meet him at 9:30. He was very nice, even did the Obi-Wan voice for the crowd, and signed both the photo I brought and the black and white provided by Disney.

Jake Lloyd
"Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace" - Anakin Skywalker
Now, my Fastpass had been used, I was not guaranteed any more autographs...BUT, you were allowed to form walk-up lines for the celebrities, and if they had time left after signing for the Fastpass groups, walk-ups would be admitted. However, it was possible that a Disney employee would send the walk-ups away if it was time for the celebrity to leave. I got in Jake Lloyd's walk-up line, and after about an hour wait, got in to meet him! I'd heard before that he really hates these kind of events (which makes his autograph difficult to get), and you could tell that he wasn't terribly excited, so I stayed away from talking to him about Star Wars, and actually found out that he plays the piano. (A stray raindrop got on the picture before I could put it back in the protective sleeve, smearing the ink, which is why it looks like there's a scar across his face.)

Catherine Taber
"Star Wars: The Clone Wars" - Padme Amidala
While I was in line for Jake Lloyd, my cousin offered to jump in the newly formed walk-up line for Catherine Taber, because he knew I was an autograph collector and wanted as many as I could get. He was in and out before my line even moved! She thought it was really funny and nice of him to get an autograph for his cousin, and even signed it to my full name (my cousin overheard me telling another fan that I liked it when Alan Rickman signed to my full name). As excited as I was to have the signature, I wanted a chance to meet her, so after I met Jake Lloyd, I got in her walk-up line and was soon at her table. She remembered my cousin, and when I told her my first name, she remembered my last name! It's the same as her dad's, apparently. She was very nice, and I talked to her for several minutes before getting a picture with her.

Ashley Eckstein
"Star Wars: The Clone Wars" - Ahsoka Tano
I'd already gotten two autographs more than I was guaranteed, could I possibly get one more? I waited over an hour, but finally got to meet Ashley Eckstein, who talked with me the longest of the four. We found out that we're both from Kentucky, she hinted that Season 5 of the show was going to be great, and wished me good luck (and the Force) on my job interviews this summer. When she heard that I was a music teacher, she even signed a black and white for my students! I like how she signs "Ashley" and "Ahsoka" with the same large letter A.

So, all in all, a very successful day for a Star Wars fan and autograph collector! This brings my total Star Wars autographs to ten! And don't think I didn't get to enjoy the park, I still got to ride most of the rides, including six times on the new Star Tours!
