Michael Bublé - VV success!

My first VV success! I only sent it out two days before the concert so I was afraid it wouldn't get there...imagine my surprise when I saw this in my mailbox! I asked for a photo for my collection and another for my sister who loves Michael and was actually at the show I sent to. He so generously honored my request!

Sent: LOR & SASE on June 23, 2011 --> for concert on June 25.
Received: TWO signed photos in my SASE on July 5, 2011.

This arena is brand new, just built last summer, so I decided to test the address. I guess they do pass on fanmail!

Congratz!!! I'm sending VV to him soon as well. What size are the photos? I'm debating on whether to send him pics or not, it's typically my policy to send photos with all my requests, but I saw him return another person's photos unsigned and he sent one signed instead.

The photos are 5x6. He seems to be good with signing VV--good luck!

P.S. You've been collecting for a while, so here's my question for you: do you see more TTM successes by sending VV or to an agency/fan club?

Thanks!! I'll send him a 6x9 SASE then. In my years as a collector I have gotten more successes by sending to their agents and regular fan mail addresses, although I have had good success with getting some tough names VV, but my regular mail address successes far outweigh my VV successes.

See I kinda agree with Ryan, however I have just started sending VV. TTM to their home, fanmail, agency, ect. I end up getting about 40% back with some sort of authintic auto. Right now I've sent VV to Al Pacino, Britney Spears, & Martin Lawrence & the only one of the two I have not heard from was Britney Spears, so even though it's not a lot 66.6% VV & about 40% through the others.

Then again I just sent to Motley Crue, Lil Wayne, & Rihanna so that VV percentage might be changing soon.

Your best bet for VV is to catch them at the begining of a tour before EVERYBODY knows that they are on tour. Also if you can find a VV with a bad reputation for passing on fanmail that recently just got really good at passing it on, that would help as well. That's how I got Al Pacino.

I know you didn't ask for my opinion but I was just scanning through and had to say something.

BTW... my fiance is jelious. She loves Buble' and we've has no success going through his agency. We will be trying him once he hits the US next month.
