Does anyone know when the filming begins or addresses?
According to narniafans.com (http://www.narniafans.com/movies/mov_vdt.php) it will be filming early in 2008 and may shoot in Malta, Prague and New Zealand.

I haven't found a lot information about the cast but on imbd it says that William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley will be in it.

Loveryan, filming for Prince Caspian has completed.
Silverstar, according to NarniaWeb, it also states that this film has been delayed due to the Writer's Strike. Definitely watch that site as they are known to update when filming starts and everything like that. The main set will more than likely be set in New Zealand and Prague once again like the previous two films.

Oh, thank you so much Larisie! I wasn't sure if they were going to shoot in Prague cause there has been a lot of discussions about that.
Anyway, soon I'll get some Czech stamps from a friend over there and we're both going to write to the Narnia Cast when they'll be filming in Prague. {thumb2}

I browsed NarniaWeb and in FAQ section I found this:

Q: Where will 'Dawn Treader' be filmed?
A: Originally the production team was going to film in Malta, Iceland, and Prague, but after the release date was moved and the schedule was set back by six months, scouting for new locations started up again. We've received reports that both Australia and New Zealand have been scouted, but at this time no location has been officially chosen. Whether Malta and Iceland will still be used for a scene or two, we don't know. Prague has been removed from the list due to high tax rates.

But I don´t know where it was updated...

Hmm, that's interesting.
They've filmed both of the previous Narnia films in Prague, as well as New Zealand, so It doesn't make sense for them to cut out Prague this time around, even if they have high taxes. I doubt the tax thing is a new thing...or is it?

UPDATE: NarniaWeb received word that filming still begins this summer on the third pic, not in November as was stated below.

With The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian coming to theaters on May 16, Variety got an update from producer Mark Johnson on when the third pic, "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" will get underway:

Johnson is also shepherding the third "Narnia" adaptation, "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. After being stymied by the WGA strike, it's scheduled to start filming in November for a May 2009 release. "As long as the Narnia movies keep succeeding and I don't make a big mistake," Johnson says, "I will continue doing them."

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is scheduled to hit theaters on May 7, 2010.

I also saw something that said Prague was not going to be used, but I can't remember where that was.

Anyone know what production company they used while in NZ?
