Sending request to the UK from US

Greetings,

I've been collecting for years, and this is the first time I've had to ask for help.

There is an actor in the UK I would like to get an autograph from. His agent told me it wouldn't be a problem, but I would need to include UK postage on my SASE because otherwise it would have trouble coming back to me here in the US.

The post office has no clue how to do this, and I've tried the Royal Mail site, they won't let you print postage because there's a time restraint (must mail within 24hrs).

Does anyone in the US know of the easiest way to get this done?
