advice on sending to the usa
Hi,
I'm not new to collecting autographs, I've collected many here in the UK, I'm just new to sending to the USA . I know you have a post here giving postage costs abroad but I'm a bit slow. What I want to ask is if I'm sending from the UK to the usa , how many UK stamps do I need to get it to the usa , and how many US stamps do I need to get it back?
Sorry for asking this question I just find it easier for someone to explain who has done it.
Thank you
Brad

Both Royal Mail (UK) and USPS (USA) Post Offices have calculators and price lists on their website.

OK but how do I get USA stamps here in England?
Re: advice on sending to the usa
Try eBay or there is a member over on the Autograph Exchange/Sale section of this forum offering them for sale.
Otherwise you could get $1 bills from a Post Office, Bank or Travel Agent and include those with your request.
International return postage questions come up alot so searching this section of the forum will throw up lots of info

As the ever helpful kimmylee said... there's loads of answers in this forum, most of which are in the section you just posted in, right above your post in permanently pinned topics. To answer this question, to calculate the return postage required, you need the weight/dimensions of the the package and then to apply them to the price finder on USPS.com. Again there is a helpful topic above on how to do this, and where to find this.obi wan wrote:OK, sorry for asking so many questions, how many u.s stamps would I need to get it back to England?

Very easy to work out by yourselfobi wan wrote:OK, sorry for asking so many questions, how many u.s stamps would I need to get it back to England?

Use the postage calculator to work out the price of sending your item from US to UK.
Then once you have your stamps (like the UK, the US has several different values of stamps) simply affix enough to meet or exceed that price
