Could anybody give me a ballpark estimate what it would cost to send a 9.5x12" mailer (usually around 2.5 oz.) to the UK from the US? It's a lot easier for me to just stick on stamps and drop it in the mailbox rather than making a special trip to the post office. I have had success sending to anywhere in the U.S. for 3 (46¢) stamps, so I'm just wondering if it would be about the same. Thanks!

International postage is always more expensive.

Try the postal calculator on the USPS website.

IRC's are way too expensive. I recently decided only to buy foreign stamps from now on. It's much cheaper to to buy foreign stamps and you have a better chance of receiving a reply. {up}

I apologize if I don't understand exactly how to go about this. I see that the US no longer sells IRCs. If I want to get an autograph of a celebrity in Sweden, what should I do? You cant use US stamps right?

Sorry...this is my first time doing this, I appreciate any help.

If the celeb is in Sweden, you would need Swedish stamps on your return envelope, or to include some Swedish currency (paper not coins).

IRC Pricelist

Im not on irc but that sounds like a netsplit. Itll say something like Services are not available, it means you wont get your status and several other trouble.
Wait for it to fix itself then identify yourself, everything will be as it used to be.

Forget IRC's!!!!!!!!!!!!

Celebrities and athletes have no time or inclination to redeem your IRCs

You can buy almost every stamp (new) on EBay

I have purchased stamps for UK, France, USA, and Australia

Just search with a year in the EBay search box
e.g. "france, stamps, 2017"
Successes? --- too many to count - pm me and I can help with an address if I have it and it worked. Feel free to ask.

I have also stopped sending international fan mail unless I really like the band/actor/actress etc. As a student I can not afford the £1.10 for the IRC's. I really want to get the cast of CSI but i believe when i go over to america next i'll do it then.
