US SASE Costs

Post by JMRevolution »

Hi guys,

Long time browser, first time poster hehe! I collect my autographs mainly by conventions or meeting on site. Figure I'll give fanmail a go!

1)I'm trying to calculate an A4 cost from America to Australia? I can't find it on the USPS site, I did find the calculator, but it wasn't helpful?

Could someone guide me in the right direction.

2)Forever stamps are 49c and Global Forever are $1.15 always right? just double checking

Thanks guys!

kind regards,

Stamp prices are correct. The next time USPS raises the prices, the current value will rise accordingly.

To use the calculator:
Select Australia as destination.
Set value at 0
Ignore date & time boxes
Select calculate based on size & shape
Enter the weight
Select large envelope
Choose the best fit on large envelope properties.
Scroll right down to the bottom until you hit "First Class Mail International" (aka Airmail)

You have your price :)

Quick question too,

Do SASE from America need an Airmail sticker or anything?

No. You can just write (I prefer a marker in a color other than blue or black) BY AIRMAIL / PAR AVION on the SASE.

I doubt even 2 will be enough, magazines are heavy.

Each IRC is worth $1.15.

Use the calculator on USPS.com, step by step instructions have already been posted in this thread.

Just change the country to Chile, and input the size & weight of your SASE.
