Does Anyone Else feel this Way?
Ok, Let me start out by saying this is my opinion, and I am sorry if anyone finds it offensive. I see people sending to the same celebrity countless times within a short time period (less than a year), being impatient; and it drives me crazy. And I'm not saying trying their agency, and then trying them VV, because that's a little different. I mean, saying someone write a celebrity like 4 or 5 times via the agency within a year. To me, I think that it just builds up more and more fan mail. Even if you are a big fan, and want an autograph, I would say people sending so much mail to the same person, kind of decreases your chances. I feel this way, because it could kind of overwhelm a celeb. if numerous people do this, it gives them so much more unnecessary fan mail and could discourage them from signing. I would compare it to dishwashing, if you do the dishes every day, or like as you dirty them, it's a lot easier then letting them pile up and pile up. Before you know it, there are a ton of them there, and you don't even want to look at them. It kind of becomes more like a chore, do you get what I'm saying? I feel that if people limit the number of requests to a famous person, and actually give them a chance to get to their fan mail, as opposed to bombarding them with like ten letters in 6 months, that the chances for everyone to get an autograph would be better. Instead, the person who sends it either could, yes possibly receive all of their items back signed, or the majority of them, but this could also cut into other's responses, or like I stated before, result in the celebrity being overwhelmed. The same with writing VV to someone several times, especially if you send once, or at most twice to a venue that is known to pass on fan mail. This pretty much means that the celebrity has received your letter, even if it was lost in the mail once. Give them a chance to respond! It is their choice, whether or not they respond to you. If they want to, they will, if they choose not to, sending them a million times will probably not increase your chances. This once again, is just my opinion. Does anyone else agree, or do you disagree with me? Thanks for responses! [reindeer] (I don't know why I used that face in this situation, I just wanted to try it, LOL!)

I see where you are coming from and I totally agree! It may even 'encourage' some people to stop signing ttm completly (my best example is here again Viggo Mortensen).
And I don't think it actually helps you more to get a success!
Sending more is no guarantee to get something back, okay maybe in some cases it is!
It is a hobby that needs a lot of patience and maybe some people should not do this then if they have none at all!
(I love this one *gg*)

I know what you mean, I only write to the same celeb ONCE at different addresses. If I don't recieve any feedback within a year, I won't even bother writing again!
AUTHENTIC, OR NOTHING AT ALL.

I'm with you. Especially when you see members write to certain people 8 or so times within a period of 2-3 months. That's almost once a week. It takes advantage of the kindness of celebrities, and will, in my opinion, eventually lead to some celebrities whom are 'abused' like this to stop signing all together.

Re: Does Anyone Else feel this Way?
Thats MADNESS! If someone writes so often, thats stalking
This is very DANGEROUS as the celeb, would feel like thay are boxed into a corner.
The best rule of thump is: never EVER write to a celeb more then twice. As I know of some who keep watch, on who has written to them. If this where to continue, the police could be involded.
So use self control: remember there's thousands of celebs to write to, then everyone benefits.

I've written to John Travolta 3 times, but never because of being impatient or being a stalker. And I wrote far apart and I had no intention of being stalkerish or anything- one was asking for one for my mom, and one for me. He only sent one for me..so..I sent again asking for one for my mom. Then one of my friends REALLY wanted an autograph from him so I wrote him again asking for an autograph for my friend.

Yeah. I never see anything wrong with asking for other people, whether you've written to that person before or not.
Re: Does Anyone Else feel this Way?
I agree! ;) But the thing that annoys me the most is when people write to someone, like Shia LaBeouf, 2 - 3 times just because he sends out a new photo! And they already got his auto, but now they're writing again to get the new photo too! I think that's really unneccessary.
