What is the appeal? An autograph for the sake of it being an autograph? Or is just the treasure hunt aspect that's fun, which I suppose I could understand? It just seems like after finding it you're left with a book that has little personal or emotional (and in most cases monetary) value. I'm not criticizing here; everyone should be allowed to have their fun. I just want to know what the appeal is for you guys.
It's the appeal of finding an autograph, and at, hopefully, a steal!

I, personally, collect autographs of famous people, whether they be movie stars, TV stars, singers, authors, political figures, astronauts, sports stars, etc....I, maybe unfortunately, don't collect just a certain subject. The thrill is also picking up an autograph of someone you know nothing about, taking it home, getting on the internet, and finding out if they are somebody or not, which is how I found out about the two autographs i found and posted. I also found two other signed books yesterday at the sale, but when I try to look up their names, nothing came up, so they aren't "worth anything" to me(which is why I didn't post them). It's a chance you take. Plus, if you don't want the autograph you find, if you're not interested in that person, someone else might be, so you can possibly sell it or trade it.
