This is one of the things I love about this hobby. Got my first success since last year, and it was a complete surprise since I sent out my first LOR in a while yesterday. It was none other than Buffalo Bills star RB, and captain of my fantasy team last year, Fred Jackson! Here's the details:

Sent: 11/2/11
Rec'd: 5/2/12

That's right, exactly 6 months. Even though I shouldn't have, I kind of gave up on this one. He signed and personalized my custom 4X6. I'll try to post pics sometime tomorrow. Sent c/o Buffalo Bills, so stoked to get this return. I'M BAAAAAAACK!

Grats on the Fred Jackson Shadow! Just when I think I'm out, a new (err old one) I gave up on shows up.

The Jim Everett one is his authentic address. I used to live out there. I had a guy on this board who wanted to sell me the autograph but would not give me his address, so I did a bit of digging and found him myself instead and posted the address up once I got him. It's one of those things where I couldn't find any books, sites or people looking for his address until I posted it up, then everybody claims they were the one who found him after the fact. Whatever, -I don't know why I sound like I'm crying sour grapes about it. Anyway, I know that's legit. No Meiselman 2010 book, or autograph had that one in it until I snagged it.

Got another WLAF alum today, John Garrett on one card C/o the Cowboys.

Today I got Willie Davis on a Rackrs card inscribed "HOF 81" and he gave me two 3X7s one personalized and one with best wishes!!!! Very happy about this one!!!
