I'd love to let the cast of Raymond know how much my husband and I have come to enjoy the series, seen on TV Land mostly. We had never watched it until this year. Each actor is superb and the scripts show people how to be or not to be in family relations --with humor. The favoritism by the mother, the chronic unpleasantness of Frank, Marie's intrusive, conniving role as mother-in-law, the rivalry of the brothers (so childish), adorable Amy and sane beautiful Deborah. We all see things about their families that slightly resemble our own --like men loving sports, and women having pride or insecurity about their cooking skills. The casting of Deborah's and Amy's parents was spot on--with the mothers resembling their daughters. Ray is so clueless. I imagine it was fun to film the episodes and we wondered if the laughter is all canned --no live audiences? Robert is a hoot -facial expressions! We are retired in our 70's and enjoy seeing these re-runs we had never seen before. :)
