Hi Anita!
I've been super busy with university lately so unfortunately I don't have time to do a lot of comparisons anymore, but I'll see if I can help you with this one as Britney almost
never signs, not TTM and rarely in person.
Ok, here's two recently sold (2009)
in person autographs of Britney from
AutographWorld.com:
And her
handwriting looks like this (also from AutographWorld.com):
OK, now the first thing I've noticed that worries me is the "B" in your autograph - as you can see from in person ones, there's just one line that goes up to form the B but in your autograph, there's two lines: first it goes down, then up again to form the B (if you know what I mean!). But this doesn't mean it's secretarial though, just something odd I've noticed and haven't seen her doing when signing recently.
Another worrying thing is after the B, there's a "ri" scribble which she doesn't make in person.

It's usually just the B, and then the "t". Perhaps she could have signed a more fuller signature for you (as she have done this before, but many years ago though!).
The heart seems to match the way she draws them (really weird looking heart!).
As for the inscription, it does seem like her handwriting, just a bit neater than the in person one I posted above. Compare the "a" in "Ryan" to the last "a" in "Anita" - it has the same shape. The "n" in your name though, doesn't look at all like the in person one - yours is way too upright while the in person one is more flat, if you know what I mean. Of course, she could have been in a rush when signing in person.
The "y" in her autograph seems to match recent in person examples too.
As we all know, Britney's autograph gets forged
a lot as it's worth up to $200 (see AutographWorld.com).

Many people, including her manager is very good at forging her autograph exactly for the reason when she gets autograph requests TTM (she's a very rare signer, especially with all those paparazzi's swarming around her 24/7). Therefor, keep in mind that it's extremely difficult to tell for sure whether autographs TTM from her are authentic or secretarial.
But, due to the very rare via venue feedback from her but you getting a success, I'd say it's
probably authentic.

I think she actually got hold of your letter and replied, while her agent/manager/whoever usually just throw all mail in the trash. It's rare to see secretarial autographs from "Britney" TTM too, as many people simply never hear back from her.
Hope this helps and if anyone else has other opinions, please post so but keep it respectfully. {thumb2}
