Regarding Steve Martin
I believe these are authentic and not secretarial.
This is because when he signs seem to match when he is not so busy. For example there had not been any successes from him for a while and shortly after as he had completed a major project (The Pink Panther sequel) there were several reported success from him and even one via venue of the set.
In my opinion this is enough proof for me. This on top of that it took me a couple of years to get a success from him. Often Secretarials take only a few months max.

I disagree. I was one of the first people in line when he was doing a book siging a few months ago and his signature was the same on both books i got signed and it does not match his TTM. He was sitting and relaxed, so he did not need to rush his signature. I'm pretty sure they are secretarial.

Top-10 Favorite Autographs: Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Johnny Depp, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Larry David, Gary Oldman and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Sorry I think he just said, that he had two books signed, and he was relexed, while signing them, and both looked the same, but the TTM looks secretarial, I think his in a good position, to know if one autograph, look diffront from another.
As you had good enough proof, for me to believe that Tony Curtis are secretarials, now this makes me think that just maybe Steve Martins are too.
If someone signs two books the same in front of you, and his TTM's look unlike these, then question the TTM one not the IP.
I know that if a celeb signs 50 autographs, then not all will look exactly the same, as this is impossible. But there are tell tale signs, that an autograph, is from (his or her) hand. But then again as I have already said, some secretarials are bang on.

Just wanted to say I am not doubting that the TTM Steve Martin autographs may be secretarial but I was just in a bit of denial when I first heard as it seems more and more of my autographs that I thought were signed by the actual celeb are turning out to be secs and this is heartbreaking and sad news for me.

I understand 100% and I have a lot of the same successes, as everyone else. And for one moment I dont doubt anyone on this site, I just doubt, quite a few of the celebs, and after one success, I saw today I'm begining to doubt another big celeb, who I recieved from just under 3 weeks ago.
Basically the speed of the return, was so fast, that he had to be in the office, the day the letter was recieved. (highly unlikely) if this was his home address, then yes I would have thought it was authentic.
There's so much more to an "authentic", then just the way it looks, where does it come from in line with where the celeb lives, and many other factors. And it's all to easy, to send out secretarials, why you dont even have to read your own fanmail. Just get your sec, to send out another wonderful 8x10 inch "signed photo" and off you go.
And if all the celebs, where "so honest" why would we need a "is it authentic" forum!!!!! Yes there are still authentics sure there is, and if you stick, to just writing VV or Home address, or the BBC, then yes there's still a number of authentics, to have and enjoy, sometimes it means a little more work, but thats the way forward.
There are even a couple of agents that are sometimes pretty good, but please dont always trust them.
