I have my doubts about it's authenticity.
Compare it to his autograph card for example.

Image

and an earlier autograph like the one your looking at here.

Image

Comparing it to these 2 examples, I don't think it's authentic. Although at first glance it might look the same but if you look closer there are differences. For example look at the T's, in authentic examples his T's always have a little curly thing on top. They are not straight as in the picture you are thinking about purchasing. Also look at the R in Rule in both examples. People usually don't change little things like that. It looks like a forgery if anything.
I wouldn't purchase it.
But that's just my opinion.

Well, I don't know... That's why I don't like buying autographs... Although if he was younger, maybe he was still deciding how his autograph was going to be.. I mean, I'm always changing my signature and I fgure maybe if I was an artist of some kind I could change little things like that..
but again, that's why I don't buy autographs.

The T's in his signature are very distinct though, I have never seen his signature without it. Either from a few years back or more recent.

Well.. yeah, I guess it couldn't be trusted.. I think you should only buy an autograph if you're sure that it's authentic so.. I'd just forget about this one.. sorry.

I think it looks to practised. As if the seller had sat down with an authentic in front of him and tried to copy it exactly.
Im leaning towards forged.

But it doesnt matter because the auction is over!
