Oh I don't blame you... lol... I should have known it came from the clowns at PSA/DNA...

What most hilarious about them is, I've seen more fake Eli Manning Autographed Items with their Sticker than Authentic ones. lmao

They are supposed to be "Experts" but are wrong about so many things it's not even funny. Don't even let me started about their whole "Peyton's are ghost signed" stance.

Anyone who has followed his signature through the years, or even simply examines his official Paid Autographs of today can see that his TTM's match his current day signature to PERFECTION. It would have to be the greatest ghost signer in the history of the hobby... That how indentical Peyton's TTM's are to his in person or "Steiner" Signatures.

That's not to even mention that the logic would make zero sense... If Peyton has a ghost signer, why does so much stuff get sent back unsigned??????? Why did the flood of successes really start when he had his well documented neck injury that kept him sidelined for and entire season with lots of free time????... Why are the majority of the successes Small Items(Cards) or Pre-Signed photos? Or the publisized signed & returned wedding invitation? Why would "Sports Illustrated" in their recent Sportsman of the Year issue dedicate a large chunk of the article on Peyton's well known and regimented schedule/process of Signing Through The Mail Autograph Requests????

Is it all one big perfect scam????... Or, is it really that hard for the Folks at PSA/DNA to believe that to someone as big as Peyton Manning, his Signature isn't just a buisness to make money with? Which is all it is to them...

I have a Paul Thomas Anderson Autographed 8x10 with a PSA/DNA Cert & Sticker that I bought off ebay in 07... Of course the Signature is as fake as a $3 Bill(bought it before I knew PTA's Signature well enough), but HEY!, PSA/DNA says it's real so it must be so... smh

PSA/DNA are a joke... Period.

There is not one factual or logical arguement they can present to demonstrate that Peyton Manning's TTM Autographs are fake... NOT ONE.

Peyton has never ghost signed..... {down}
try telling that to the people over at sportscollectors.net and you'll be laughed off the message board. i actually trust their opinion over yours, no offense
I'm sorry, but they're completely wrong... And you're trusting the wrong people.

Are these the same people where the "Rumors" of Eli & Peyton having the same ghost signer came from? lol

I hope not, as I've already dispelled that myth, as someone who has dealt with Eli in person alot.

Ok, we're just going in circles here.

So let's try something more constructive.

The other posters have posted their evidence to support their reasoning, and it makes sense to me.

Also, as a general point of fact, PSA is a lot less trustworthy now than they were way back when. There's a lot of evidence of them rejecting IN PERSON autographs. The only time an authenticator's word is gospel is when you have a court decision backing it up. Even then, it doesn't mean it's real, it just means that it's real in the eyes of the government.

HOWEVER, you seem very sure of your position. Can you please elaborate on how you came to hold those views and the evidence that supports them?

I'm an AVID autograph sports collector. I know Peyton's VERY well... and the TTM match the IP exactly. There is zero evidence to support your basis. You refuse to show any evidence for yourself which makes YOU look uninformed.

PSA is not exactly the final say in this, either. I can't tell you how many times they've been wrong.

This is why things on this board get heated so quickly.

If someone talked to you like that, would you go on the defensive? I know I would.

So, why don't we have a nice conversation about this instead of clawing at each other's throats?

As you can see from my post before yours, I've asked for more information on their beliefs.

Clearly there is some evidence, or they wouldn't hold those beliefs. It may be small, it may be misunderstood, but it exists.

If you talk to them like that, you'll never find out what it is. And, personally, I'm curious.

So, I'm going to assume the role of referee for this thread, to make sure things don't get overly heated. Anyone who has a problem with that can take it up with me via PM.

I'm sorry, but I'll say again as someone who has gotten Eli in person year after year several times... And know his Sig & Tendencies in & out...

The mere concept of presenting a theory that Eli & Peyton have the same ghost signer because of Eli's "loop" is so laughable that it's difficult to entertain seriously. ANYONE who has gotten Eli IP khows the lazy "M & loop" instead of "Manning"..

And again, I grew up as a kid following Peyton Manning's Autograph since 1998. I know it(and it's very slight changes over the years) almost as well as my own signature.

The concept that his TTM Autographs are ghost signed is quite simply nonsense... If it's a ghost signer, it's the greatest to ever live. A savant... Because the signature literally matches 100% to his Paid Signatures from Steiner Sports & IP's.

http://www.steinersports.com/search.htm ... on+manning

^^^Please, PLEASE ANYONE look at these Peyton Signatures and tell me how his TTM's differ, in even the SLIGHTEST way... I'd love to hear it. lol

Again, add in his past comments about the time he spends signing his fanmail, Sports Illustrated dedicating an entire section of his Sportsman of the Year Article on this very subject and Peyton's process...

How can you possibly be cynical enough in the face of all the evidence to still say "Nope. Fake!"?

BASED ON WHAT?????? Because it's certainly not the Signature, which is a perfect match... So What?

I've heard nothing... Compared to the mountains of stuff I have already listed.

I'm a pretty cynical guy in general... I'm ESPECIALLY cynical when it comes to this hobby. I have seen not one shred of info or evidence to make me doubt Peyton's TTM Autographs... Not one.

If it's because of PSA/DNA, then that's just sad... I've already spoken about them.

This has been said.

Right now, we're giving the other user a chance to respond without feeling attacked.

There is NO reason to keep repeating the same points, as you have nothing new to refute.
