Re: Splitting members

I guess splitting them up into the remaining teams would be the best option.

However, I don't mind if you want to take on the members into your team. This will probably mean that you will have the biggest team though.

Re: Coldplay - Success!

Hi awesome success! Do you think if I send a letter to them today will it work, is the address still valid? The address I posted to is no longer valid. They are still touring so you should work out which of the venues they are still to be performing at to write to (and time your request appropriate...

Re: Quentin Tarantino, Diane Kruger, Geoffrey Rush in Melbourne!

Have you manage to get photos with any of them? I only got a photo with Geoffrey Rush. I asked Quentin for a photo and he politely declined and said he was only taking media photos. However, he did also mention that I was free to take photos of him as he walked the red carpet. I saw Geoffrey Rush o...

chucky123 - new TM?

Hi everyone :D

chucky123 has PM'd me asking to become a new TM.

Given that we haven't worked out the rules for promotion of new TM's (see TM Prerequisites--what do you think?), I guess we'll do it the old way.

Please vote and post any comments below.

Thanks!

Quentin Tarantino, Diane Kruger, Geoffrey Rush in Melbourne!

Hi everyone :D Last Sunday (2 August 2009), the Melbourne premiere of Inglourious Basterds was held at the Forum Theatre as part of the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF). I attended and managed to get autographs from Quentin Tarantino, Diane Kruger and Geoffrey Rush. I missed out on getti...

Anthony LaPaglia, Geoffrey Rush & others - "Balibo" premiere

Hi everyone :D On the 24th of July I attended the World Premiere of Anthony LaPaglia's new film Balibo as part of the opening of the 2009 Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF). The premiere was held at Hamer Hall in Melbourne. There were a number of celebrities and VIP's attending, including ...

Coldplay - Success!

Hi everyone :D I'm quite excited to receive this VV request back. Coldplay is my favourite band! I wrote to them while they were in Australia for their Viva La Vida tour in February/March this year. I sent along a 8 x 10 photo and received it back signed by the band. It looks like my fan mail travel...

Re: how many photos do you send to get signed?

I (almost) always send 2. It's a nice even number :)

Any more than 3 and whomever you're sending the request to may think you're a bit greedy.

Re: So Frustrated!

Sometimes it can take a long time to get a reply. The key to this hobby is patience. I think the recommended waiting time before re-sending is a year. I totally agree! I have had a success come back recently and it took almost 2 years! xBethany ... who did you send your requests to? Have ther...

Re: Writing in the languade of person you want authograph from?

Hi svenver :D If you can write in the person's native language, it is even better than writing in English as English could be their second langugage. It would make it easier for them to read and understand your message and request, and you may even get a better reply. Good luck! nowandagain [rockon]
