A photo is $20. Looks like you got the better part of the deal with him signing a photo and not the card. If you wanted him to sign the card, and sent only $5, then why did you send the photo? No I got NOTHING signed he sent EVERYTHING back. I thought he would at least sign the card and keep the $5...

Which did you send to him or did you send him both? Regardless, the difference in the first letter is enough to suspect there's two different people signing these.

My SASEs are 9x12 envelopes with a piece of cardboard as stiffener for an 8x10 photo and sleeve. I send them to the person in a 10x13 envelope.

At Star City and in Russia, cosmonauts don't use autopens or secretaries. The only autopens you'll find from cosmonauts are from the NASA-JSC office.

All depends on _how_ it's sent. If it's an envelope, even a larger one, it's one thing. If it's a padded envelope or a "thick" envelope, it's another. Weight isn't the only factor. I can send a flat rate Priority Mail box that has nothing inside and weighs less than an 8x10 envelope with a...

You need British stamps on a letter from the UK to the US, Swiss stamps from Switzerland to the US.
