Re: David berkowitz-the son of Sam turned minister- success!
I think there's a big difference in being rude to someone who writes to an actor in a movie you hated vs. a real-life serial killer. The only thing these people did to make themselves infamous was to end another person's life. Considering the site is called "Fanmail," it comes off as mail ...

Re: George W. Bush Success
I definitely would not condone rude or mean-spirited comments. However, aren't we all here to get "authentic, hand-written signatures?" Pointing out that something is pre-printed, autopen or secretarial is helping weed-out the garbage, and helping identify real autographs. My biggest conce...

Re: Robin Williams Success!
I'm curious what other people think about this, but I wrote to Robin at a venue and received the same looking autographs. I have also met him in-person and they look different than this. I tossed mine in my "probably secretarial" pile.

Re: Richard Dreyfuss success...?
I met Mr. Dreyfuss in-person a couple years ago and this autograph looks much different than mine. He usually signs "R Dreyfuss," but it doesn't look like this. In my opinion, it is a sec. I agree, though, this hobby is fun and worth taking risks. Good luck!

Re: Cameron Diaz Success
I'm sorry, but Cameron Diaz uses a secretary. She despises autograph seekers. There are also big differences between in-person autographs and those TTM. She is doing a series of book signings in the next couple months, so that would be the best way to get her. Good luck!

Re: Dick Van Dyke Success YAY!!!!!
His autographs are secretarial. It's a waste of postage and materials to write to him. Not only are they much "neater" and not as "crammed" than his in-person signature. The photo his wife posted that was referenced earlier was just a photo of a stack of mail... Of course she's g...

luckyas13canbe - I can't understand why someone who puts so much effort supporting a good cause always comes to this forum and causes conflict. Not that it means you have to be a saint or anything, it's just surprising.

I have to agree. Milking addresses like that is what ruins it for others. Who really needs 6 autographs from one person?

Re: Robin Williams SUCCESS. Authentic??
I have to agree, this appears to be his newest secretarial signature. He is definitely worth trying vv though. That is the best chance to get an authentic.
