Met him in person this month. He is a pretty nice guy. He signed my book and photo as well. That is definitely his signature.

That is a bummer. I'm glad I saw this so I didn't bother writing him.

Pre-prints and auto-pens are the worst. It makes things confusing. I would rather get nothing back at all. Makes me wonder how many of my autographs are auto-pens.

It is real. He can't sign sent photos for copyright reasons. He sent me two signed photos a few months ago. The signature is different than yours. It may be pre-signed though.
