Sami Hyypia Success (Bayer 04 Leverkusen)
Today, I received an autograph from current Bayer Leverkusen manager Sami Hyypia. I can't remeber the exact date I sent the request out to him, but it would have been late July / early August of last year. Not only did I get the photo I sent signed, a signed pre-print was included too. I'm very happ...

Ryan Babel (Ajax Amsterdam)
http://i1161.photobucket.com/albums/q506/tamoreit/Failures/babel_failure.jpeg I sent Ajax forward, Ryan Babel a LOR, photo, SAE and money to cover postage on February 8th 2013. Today I received the photo back unsigned. I'm disappointed with this. I used this address: Ajax Amsterdam, Arena Boulevard...

Re: When writing to a soccer team
Personally, I wouldn't do that. I think it's best to send them out in individual envelopes as there's less chance of letters going missing, in the wrong player's hands etc when they arrive at the club.

Re: Computer-typed Notes/Letters?
I prefer hand writing the letters. I usually will type them up first on my computer so I can check the spelling is correct before I write the letter out. If someone's writing is poor, I can understand why they'd type the letter though. Nothing worse than the person you want an autograph from not bei...

Re: When writing to Europe or somewhere else
Some people sell or trade stamps and in some cases you can buy stamps direct from a country's postal service. That's why I suggested stamps *if* can get them for the country you need.

Re: HighSpots.Com
Customs is the buyers concern not the sellers. It can be random, and maybe you've gotten away with it for far too long! Why not just order from somewhere domestically. I once bought 2 jackets for $100 from the States, and got caught from UK customs to which I had to pay the same to release them, th...

Re: When writing to Europe or somewhere else
Local stamps, if you can get your hands on them should work too. Also not every country in Europe uses the Euro as their currency.

Re: Sending jeserys TTM
I've never sent jerseys to be autographed because I don't want to risk loosing them. I guess if you don't mind the risk of the jersey not being returned you could always try it.
