According to the Peyback website, it says they will not accept donations in exchange for autographs. If you want to send a donation, you should do it directly to the charity and not addressed to Mr. Manning.

Sent LOR, SASE and trading card on 11/8. Today I received back not only my card signed but also a very nice, very sweet hand-written note from Mr. Lenk. I couldn't be more thrilled

Also keep in mind though that, unlike most actors, he owns and runs two separate production companies, so even if he's not busy on screen, he's got a lot on his plate and is responsible for a lot of projects and employees. Not easy running a business.

I'm a bit baffled. If you dislike him and his work so much, why did you even write to him?

This was several years back, but I sent Mr. Koontz a paperback copy of one of his books to be signed. It was an older copy, and apparently it was damaged in the mail. Mr. Koontz actually replaced it with a brand new copy, and sent a very nice letter. He is definately a class act.
