Re: friday night lights (nbc)
I sent a request to Adrianne Palicki last summer via her address in the database and got a signed picture back about four months later.

Re: Do you throw away non authentic autographs?
Unless you were actually there to see it signed, you'll never know if it's actually authentic or not.guilder1st wrote:I personally have no interest in an autograph if it's not 100% authentic.

Re: How long has it been since you've got an autograph?
After a dry spell I got one today and I got one yesterday. Yesterday's was the one I was most looking forward to. I've got around 20 requests still floating around out there. I'm going to send out a big batch of 30-40 SASE's within the next couple of weeks.

Re: where do you keep your autos?
Not like a Ziploc bag but one huge plastic bag with a giant pile of autographed pics and other things in it. Like a bag that you'd get at the grocery store. And I take them out often to admire them. But I see what you're saying.

Re: is it better to say Success and not Authentic success?
Whenever I see "authentic" I just take that to mean it's not a pp or autopen. I don't see any harm in saying it's authentic. Somebody signed it for real but unless you were there you can never be 100% sure that the celebrity actually signed it him/herself.

Re: where do you keep your autos?
I'll probably do the binder thing. I was using inexpensive frames for my favorites and hanging them on the wall of the little room where my computer is but we're selling the house and I took them all down and now they're in a bin. The ones not framed are in a plastic bag.

Re: What time does your mail come???
I'm in Wisconsin.
Anywhere from around 2:00PM to 4:30PM. Probably around 3:00PM more often than not though. I used to live three blocks away and it usually arrived about 9:00AM every day. I must be on the end of the route now.

Re: How many stamps...?
I don't know if this was mentioned but the cardboard not only adds weight, it also makes the envelope "rigid." And a rigid envelope costs more to mail. I forgot how much, 30 cents or something. I didn't realize this until I was talking to an employee at the post office a few weeks ago.
