Re: In Person

At a book signing, probably the most famous person whose autograph I've gotten is Buzz Aldrin. His autobiography came out several years ago and I got a first edition copy signed. He brought a pretty big crowd so I didn't get to talk to him or anything, unfortunately. Long before that, at another boo...

Jennifer Lawrence VV?

Hello all. I've been doing some research on Jennifer Lawrence's signing habits and it seems like almost everyone who's gotten an authentic signature from her sent to her VV. She's currently shooting an X-Men movie in Canada so I was thinking about sending to her there. Would I stand a decent chance ...

Re: Comic Book Collectors

I thought some of you might be interested in this, especially those of you who are, like me, fans of Paul Dini's work. This site is offering a copy of his latest Jingle Belle stories in the Top Cow holiday special that came out around Christmas, including a bookmark signed by Dini. I can vouch for t...

Re: Holiday mail delivery schedule this year kinda S***s !!!

The US Postal Service is proposing a 5-day delivery week to Congress. So far, it doesn't seem to have gone anywhere.

The only postal holidays here that are coming up are Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Tough luck up there with all those mail-free days.

Re: 2010: your ttm best success and worst failure

Best Success: Personalized Hugh Hefner TTM. I love this one because I put a lot of time, thought and effort into putting my request together and all told, it only took a week to get the photo I sent back. Worst Failure: Eh, I got some RTS but those were mostly due to not enough postage. I slapped so...

Re: Your Autograph Diaries

Tried to send a request to Jewel Staite today (my first international request), but was thwarted by a faulty post office kiosk. Will try again later.

Re: What do you use and How do you print your photos to send

I use Snapfish myself. Reasonably priced, they give you all kinds of discounts and incentives, and most importantly, they don't ask questions.

Re: Does anyone decorate the letter or envelope?

On the envelope I sent my request to Hugh Hefner in, I drew the Playboy rabbit logo in black Sharpie on the back. Was just trying to stand out, really. It might have worked, since I got my photo back from him signed and inscribed a week later. :)

Joel Hodgson, for the second time. Got a RTS the first time around, so I'm trying a different address.
