This has come up a couple of times, and the other option to IRC's or giving no postage at all is to use stamps from whichever country you want a reply - in this case the UK. I had a look on the Royal Mail website, and they have 'Universal Europe Stamps' which cover a letter up to 40g going anywhere ...

I've met a few footballers (or soccer players if you prefer). They were just at a petrol station and a supermarket. The thing with in-person autographs though is that unless you now you're going to meet the person, at a premiere or something, you never have anything good to sign! All I had was a sho...

That should be fine.

Its best to keep it quite short, because they may not have time to read a really long letter, but 3 paragraphs sounds about right.

Re: Question about sending envelopes

How are you supposed to send envelopes to a celeb, if you are sending them on w/ a picture in it to sign? I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but the SASE is folded so that it fits in the envelope to the celeb, then then picture just goes in the main envelope as well. Like DanTheMan said, it is be...

SFX seem to be quite good in general, but I havn't seen any tennis player successes from them specifically.

Their tennis client list is here; http://www.sfxsports.com/tennis/clients.php

Is a playbill just one of those sheets of paper that says who stars, and has like the title of the play? If thats the case, then I would guess you'd just the minimum postage for a normal letter because it will be light (i'm not entirely sure how American stamps work). If its more like a programme th...

I think its good.

The celebrity forums are still listed on the drop-down menu at the bottom though, so do they still exist but just aren't listed on the main index?

For nearly all of my requests, I would start with; "Dear 'Person's Forename'" There are some occassions where it seems weird to use there first name though, because of who they are or something. So for instance, if I was writing to Tony Blair, I wouldn't start with 'Dear Tony', it would be...

On IRC's from the UK, the circle on the left hand side should be stamped by the post office where they were bought. I think the stamp has to be there or else they won't be able to be redeemed.

And you're right - the coupon goes loose in the envelope along with the SASE and letter.

I agree - my thoughts are with those effected.

You never think it will happen somewhere near you until it actually does.
