Re: Dustin Hoffman experts

Unless you and seewolf are one and the same. It's safe to say it's a preprint.

Re: Mickey Mantle autograph

Who wants to go into business? Let's start an on line authentication company. PAAS is charging 7.00? We can charge 6.50 and all we have to do is say "Likely to be genuine" or "We think so'' wording will resolve us of all liabilty so no big deal if we get it wrong it's all about the ca...

Sharpie makes a white paint pen not a white permanent marker. Items signed by paint pens over time the paint dries and tends to flake off. I wouldn't recommend paint pens for anything. From the Sharpie website A white marker requires a pigmented, rather than a dye base ink, to achieve the required o...

Re: Mickey Mantle autograph

If PAAS actually said this was real it wouldn't surprise me. lol However on an on line examination I've never known PAAS to say definative if it was real or not. If you did indeed get an on line examination by PAAS I'm sure you wouldn't mind copying and pasting the email you received from them here....

Re: Mickey Mantle autograph

My opinion absolutely not. One of the most forged autographs in the hobby. Some forgeries are very very good this one isn't.
Here's a good site to compare also when I get a chance if needed I'll upload a pic. of my in person Mantle for comparison.

Re: My kids first mailday success from Brett Favre real or f

Bizzare success. The one on the left definately looks like a stamp. The one on the right I have to say is ghost signed/secretarial. Notice how after the v in Favre it stops then starts as shown in the red box to make the loop. That's a common occurence with someone TRYING to replicate someones signa...

Re: New Autograph Magazine!!

Let's not get too excited. Better to look before you leap. Nobody in the hobby has a clue who S. Eugene Xidas, Publisher and Victoria Gregory, Editor-In-Chief are. That raises a red flag. The address is a PMB which is most likely at mailboxes etc. or that type of business. The phone number is a cell...
