Re: USA or United States?

I ended up researching it myself, it seems to be a country-by-country thing. USPS has nothing on it since you don't write it on domestic mail. Interestingly enough, the following are USPS recommendations for a properly formed address: Everything should be uppercase Street types are abbreviated No co...

Re: USA or United States?

Yeah, I already know both works, I was just wondering which one was more "well-formed". I used to write my address as "100st". It worked perfectly fine, but I eventually switched to the more proper form of "100th street". I was just wondering if there was a similar diff...

USA or United States?

I'm sure it'd get to it's destination either way, but I was wondering if it's better practice to use "USA" or "United States" as part of the address.

Re: Queen James to King James

Ditto. LeBron's an incredible player, but until he starts winning championships, I'm not putting him on the same level as Jordan, etc. Not to mention he seems to have the benefit of the league mommying him.

Still, it probably won't be long before he starts winning championships.

That was something. I don't follow the Cubs, but is this like a yearly thing for him?

Re: Letter + SASE: Weight?

Yeah, it is quite a tight fit, I have it to fold it three times. I'll look into the 6x9 and 5x7 envelopes. Do you have to fold them both ways (horizontally and vertically) to get them to fit?

Re: Letter + SASE: Weight?

How would the regular envelope possibly cost more than the 5x7?

So I'm guessing the general consensus is that it'd be either 1 or 2 ounce?

Re: Letter + SASE: Weight?

I was thinking a letter and 9x12 inside a regular 4.25x12 envelope.

I'll be sending to various countries, so I was only looking for a weight and I'd be able to calculate postage myself.

Letter + SASE: Weight?

I'm just wondering what the typical weight of a letter + SASE would be?

I'm trying to calculate international postage, and don't exactly have a pinpoint scale.

Re: Why not just auto-lock old topics?

The forum should be set up so that moderators would have less to do anyways.

This of course brings me back to one of my earlier threads - this forum doesn't need a hundred moderators.
