Re: Lucy Liu (God of Carnage) VV success

I received a similar reply from her in today's mail. I had sent her a dvd cover from Kill Bill, and it was returned unsigned, along with a signed personalized photo of her own. The one she sent was different than the one you posted. I suspect that she had pre-signed a small stack of photos that she ...

michele -

I think you're mistaken about the play going on tour, at least the Broadway cast. I know that jeff daniels is doing some dates for his music career, including one in St. Louis in Nov. but I believe the GoC tour has been cancelled.

Congrats on your success! The sig on the left side would be that of Janet McTeer, a very talented British actress. The other sig would be that of Dylan Baker a remarkably talented actor (check him out in the film Happiness!!).

Re: Wow! Julia Stiles VV Success!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, how exciting that so many other people are getting replies from Ms. Stiles. The play had closed so long ago, without a single positive response posted here I didn't think I'd get mine back. Am very happy and grateful that she is finally getting to her fan mail. I hope everyone that hasn't heard...

Wow! Julia Stiles VV Success!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This one is a total shocker!! I wrote to Julia Stiles on October 20th 2009 while she was appearing on Broadway in Olleana. Sent her a letter, SASE, and two DVD covers. Today I received both of them signed, one personalized, one not. They're not PPs, both signed in black marker, and seem to match the...

Re: Celebrities That Usually Don't Reply TTM

Arnold Schwarzenneger used to have a website where he'd auction signed items for charity, photo's DVDs etc. Wasn't wildly publicized and you could get stuff reasonably priced and authentic.

Re: "A Street Car Named Desire"

I can't answer specifically about Ms. Blanchett, but I have had mixed luck writing to actors in care of the BAM Harvey Address on Fulton Street. Earlier this year I sent a letter there to Rebecca Hall and she signed and returned my DVD cover from Vicky Christina Barcelona. But then last month I sent...

Re: Robert Crumb (R. Crumb) artist/illustrator VV success!

I don't know if it's still up and running, but Crumb's family used to operate a website that sold signed items such as books, memorabilia and ephemera. They had some pretty rare editions of some of his comics, as well as some inexpensive stuff. If you can't get him through the mail, you may check it...

Re: Sienna Miller RTS ;(

sorry that you got yours back. The Postal sticker says "Attempted Not Known" although it doesn't look like any of the RTS stickers I've seen before. The only thing visible on your address is the USA on the bottom. I'd say that the U looks more like an M to my eyes. Maybe that confused them...
