Protecting Sharpie over Plastic.

How would one go about protecting an autograph signed with a Sharpie over a plastic base? I thought about a clear lacquer or the like but am not sure if this would affect the Sharpie or the plastic, I don't know why it would, but I would like to get some input from the rest of you.

Thanks,
Mike

Re: The Letter I Use For Charity Collecting

Thanks Steffi!

I am thinking about doing an auction around Christmas time for Child's Play (everyone should Google that one.) and wanted to get some video game memorabilia autographed and your form letter will definitely make things a lot easier for me.

Mike

EDIT: Fixed spelling.

Re: Could use help with making a letter

To me, it shouldn't matter how long or short it is. You don't want to just say "Hey, I want your autograph.", but you also shouldn't send them a novel. What I would do is introduce yourself, give some information on what their work means to you, ask for the auto., and close it politely. Do...

Re: Mailing objects overseas

Thanks for replying, I guess I shouldn't have been so vague. I am thinking of sending a video game system to Nintendo for the autograph treatment, but I want to make sure that it makes it back (signed or not). As I said in my post, I don't really want to "test the waters" by sending pictur...

Mailing objects overseas

Hello,

How would I mail an object overseas (USA to Japan)? I have never done this but don't really want to send more than one request because I don't want them thinking that I am trying to profit off of them in any way. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Mike
