I can't believe...

The bloody audacity of some websites/people {down} I was just on http://www.celeb-autographs.co.uk and the prices their autographs go for should be considered exploitation of the uninformed buyer. £100 for a Jonny Wilkinson autograph?! WHAT? I got mine for under £2 by just writing to the bloke...

Re: Attitude of Celebs

I would gladly have a PP. Even a PP means for me that the actor or his agency care at least a bit... :D May be it wouldn't be a very valuable for collectioners , but for an ordinary fan like me it would means the world...*sigh* I'm completely different - I'm an ordinary fan too who doesn't care abo...

Postcode for town of River, Dover (UK)?

Can any Britons help me? I wanna try out an address for Nicholas 'Topper' Headon (formerly of legendary band The Clash), and as there is no addy for him on the database, I thought I'd take a shot by just writing to him at : River, Dover, England. (he is currently residing there). Can anyone help me ...

Re: 2007

HIGHS - getting some very quick responses, including a personalised photo from 'Mr.Rugby' - the gorgeous Jonny Wilkinson! LOWS - missing out on meeting one of my favourite indie-rock bands, Razorlight, in person when I knew where their hotel was + leaving their show after they finished their set at ...

Re: Attitude of Celebs

Lizanne, I wrote to Daniel last month and included a photo, so I hope I get a reply sometime next year :) (hopefully with the words, 'To Michelle' at the top) People make him out to be so horrible and rude, but he's really just more serious about his acting rather than fame. If you haven't already, ...

Re: success rate

Have no idea how to do success rates either. I have TONS of requests outstanding, but I only sent them in november, so....its confusing :D I don't count preprints as success, I give them away to people who want them as they're not a real autograph in my eyes. Authentic + personalised authentic lette...

Re: Attitude of Celebs

If you dont, like the public attention, work in a shop, that's what I say. Agree completely A.A. Signing autographs comes with being a celeb. I did a stupid little test the other day, I signed my signature on a piece of paper just under twenty times in a minute. One MINUTE of a celeb's day = a reas...

Re: Record Companies??

Your best bet is writing to the band's manager, agent or PR person. You can usually find out who this is by looking inside the CD booklet, it'll credit the management and so forth somewhere in there e.g Westlife - Managed by Solo Management. Once you get the name you can google the company and there...
