Well, you could, but it wouldn't make much sense, seeing as they would never read it. Everyone that I talk to just says a few things about them so that they know you actually like the person and give your address. Of course, you'd thank them for their time afterwards ;)

It really depends on the celebrity. There is no real way to tell. If it gets pushed aside accidentally, or lost, it may never come back. If there's a big stack of fanmail to go through, it will take a little longer. If there's not much there before yours, they might get it out the same day they get ...

IP - In person

TTM means you would have sent the request through regular mail or email and received the autograph in your mailbox, while in person means... in person ;)
