Thanks, Isaiah, you've been a big help. I just have one more question: I won't mention the Beatles, but what if I sent a picture of him when he was with the Beatles? I could probably find a newer one to send if it would increase my chances of getting it signed, it's just that a Beatles photo would m...

I'm a huge fan of the Beatles, as you can see, and would like to have Pete Best's autograph because he was such an integral part of their history. Only thing is, I'm not sure what to say to a guy whose claim to fame is that he was fired before reaching international superstardom. Any thoughts?

I don't think you can purchase IRC's online officially. But sometimes, if you go here http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewforum.php?f=127 there will be some you can buy or trade for. It's rare, though. You could also try asking for them in that "Wanted" forum at the top of th...

You can fold the SASE...I fold a 9x12 three times and put it in a regular business-sized envelope. It does look kind of stupid when it says "Do Not Bend" and there's creases all over it, but it saves money.

You really don't need to get so personal as to ask him what he thinks of your name, or to share your frustration when people think it's a girl's name. Just cover a few main points: A little about you, why you're a fan, and ask for an autograph. It should be about a page or so handwritten, maybe less...

Oh, dang. I have one TTM too, and I was always on the fence about the authenticity. I'd rather know that not know, I guess.

It's definitely better. I cleaned it up a little bit and shortened it some. This is just a guideline, you don't have to write it like this, but I think this right here would be a nice letter to send. Dear Josh, How have you been? My name is Shane and I’m from Taiwan. I’m 19 years old and a sophomore...

Sent letter and SASE on April 20, 2009. Received personalized 5x7 photo in my envelope (which was way too big!) with a piece of cardboard to keep it from bending on September 28, 2009. This is my fifth Lost success! I used the Grass Skirt Productions address in the database. http://i229.phot...

I found this website: http://www.smgevansville.com/victory/victory.html. I would try calling or e-mailing this Ed Mason and asking him. If he's not the one to ask, then he might be able to tell you who is. Good luck!

I looked up The Wizard of Oz on IMDb and found the munchkin coroner's name. His name was Rad Robinson, and apparently he passed away in 1988. Are you thinking of someone else, maybe?
