From the National Baseball Hall of Fame:
Thank you for your interest in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. The Hall of Fame is pleased to forward mail to any Hall of Famer to whom you choose to correspond. Please note that we can not forward mail to individuals who are not in the Hall of Fame. Simply write to your favorite Hall of Famer, place your letter in a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Place that envelope in a larger one and send to:
National Baseball Hall of Fame
25 Main Street Cooperstown, NY 13326
Please note that the following Hall of Famers do not accept mail: Johnny Bench, Jim Bunning, Carlton Fisk, Bob Gibson, Sandy Koufax and Carl Yastrzemski.
You might also try to get a hold of the most recent edition of the Baseball Autograph Collecor's Handbook, by R.J. "Jack" Smalling, published by Baseball America. This book lists the most current known home address for nearly every living ex major leaguer.
We can't guarantee you will get a response from everyone, but we are happy to forward the mail.
Good luck and we hope to see you in Cooperstown sometime soon.
Sincerely,
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum
