Proposition to how slow this website is


If I created a forum similar to this which is incredibly fast how many people would be interested?

I can have it done roughly within 1-2 weeks , but if people are not going to use it I do not want to waste time and effort setting it all up.

I have been dealing with the "can't find sever" issues since the first of the year..........Tho today it one popped up once on me but I hit the back button and it didn't do it again........so maybe it's getting better but who knows........



edit - also what happened to all the mods??????????? since when does this place allow spam???? tonight alone I have seen about 10 spam post all over the place.........

It has been slow the past few days (couldn't even get one). But today it has been loading faster than normal.

My advise is everyone needs to PM admin, maybe if he gets enough, he'll actually do something

It's not just you, today it's actually running quite smoothly. I still 'Ctrl+C' (copy) all my replies though in case it decides to error out on me. so I don't have to keep retyping the same responses.

I dont know if today is faster or that fact that im using google chrome instead of firefox.....It seems way faster im not sure if its the different browser or not but today seems quite quick

yes the same problem too many more minutes bevor i could see ever this forum or lost connection.it's a big problem yes.

I have the same problem. Sometimes I got frustrated and decided not to post any success or I had to retype the whole thing because it said "401 not found" or something like that. Fanmail.biz is a fantastic site but I think because of having too many webpage in one site makes the site slower.

I HAVE NOT WRITTEN ON FANMAIL SINCE JOINING, BUT I HAD TO WRITE ON THIS, IT MIGHT NOT OF BEEN POSTED IN THE RIGHT SPOT, BUT I AM GLAD THAT I SAW IT, BECAUSE THIS SITE IS VERY SLOW, I HAVE A PROBLEM CHECKING ANYONE'S SUCCESS, POSTS, OR ADDRESSES, I HOPE THAT SOMEONE CAN CHANGE SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND MAKE IT EASIER FOR US, LOVE THE SITE AND LOVE HOW WELL IT HELPS ALL THE COLLECTORS ON HERE, BUT IT WOULD SAVE ME ABOUT 20-30 MINUTES EVERYDAY THAT I COME ON HERE. THANK YOU AND HOPE SOMETHING CAN CHANGE
