Nancy Torresen served as prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney District of Maine office from 2001-2011 and made history in October 2011 to become the first woman to serve as U.S. District Judge for the U.S. District Court of Maine. On 6/25/2018 I mailed a letter explaining how I find U.S. District Chief Judge Torresen's work to be very inspiring to me at:
