I actually emailed PH about that 'free ticket thing' and they responded rather quickly about it. Here is what they had to say about it
"Hi Jordan, thank you for your inquiry. Britney's show sold out 99.8% of the time every night in the first four legs. So i'm not sure where someone heard that we give free tickets away. In fact, when a celebrity comes to support Ms. Spears, they also have to pay the same ticket price as everyone else. So that statement is false. And again, thank you for getting in contact with us and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to email us back. Andrew."
I mean I didn't believe that free ticket thing myself, because Britney's audience does have a quite loving fanbase. So it did sound like bull to me. And IDK why you can't just get over the fact that people LOVE Britney. She is not a cocky person. Quite the contrary, she is shy and very humble. So the "other 5% are people who actually want to see her perform" is sh*t LOL because most of the people in that theater WANT to see her, which is why she got renewed and is getting more money haha!! Why the Britney hate? IDK. If you don't like someone, move on from it because like Britney said "I'm gonna do music for 10 more years......" so she isn't going anywhere. And the hate you have for her, isn't gonna make her disappear any faster.
obviously you've never been to vegas. giving free tickets to a show isn't an offer that is open to the public. it's done in privacy by the hotel if you spend like $5k or more in the casino. you can get other comps like free spa day, dinner reservations, free drinks, etc..it's all done under the table. so no the hotel isn't going to promote free tickets on a bilboard or make it widely known.
and all you have to do is go to ticket master and see all of the available seats left. there's a lot of them, you can pretty much sit in any section
