Amazing success today from Allan Arbus who played Maj. Sidney Freedman on M*A*S*H. Sent Mr. Arbus a LOR, SASE, & Photo ten days ago. Was pleasantly surprised to see an envelope in the mail today. The envelope had come open in the mail, and I feared the worst. Then I looked inside and it appeared to be returned unsigned, until I noticed the top. I had asked him to write his famous line on the autograph, "Ladies and Gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice." Spoken in both a season three episode and the series finale. He apparently was all too happy to oblige!
I've compared it to other examples of his signature and it's definitely authentic! Very happy to get this back and see that Mr. Arbus is still signing at 94 years of age!
