I sent a LOR and a SASE to veteran television actor Michael Knowles on May 22nd 2012 and I received a signed photo and a nice letter from him on June 7th.

Michael Knowles is perhaps best known for his role in the 1970's sitcom "It Ain't Half Hot Mum". He also appeared on "Dad's Army", "Are You Being Served?", and "You Rang, M'Lord?" He also co-wrote some episodes of "Are You Being Served?" and the "Dad's Army" radio show and it's sequel radio show "It Sticks Out Half a Mile".

As a huge fan of these old comedies, I am delighted with this success! :D
