well charity is a different situation all together. The original poster was talking about obtaining autographs for his own benefit though.

Could I just point out that it doesn't always "ruin it forthe REAL collctors". If you are collecting for Charity and can only afford to send to one area then you should get the most celebrities you can, regardless of whether or not you are their fan. If it is for charity then you don't neccesarilly need to like the celebrity, as long as you know other people will.

Ive sometimes struggled for actors who I likes address to get only to see a success posted and think awesome I want his.

I actually found someone on the fourm who lives in the UK and we're doing a trade. They're trying to get me some british autographs and i'm trying to get american ones and then we'll send them to each other once we have a few to save on shipping.
