I think through a Broadway address, I had successes from Craig, Weisz, Stewart and McKellen. I don't think really anyone else has responded to me (though to be fair, I just send out to those I like). For Playbill, I received Waiting For Godot, Glass Menagerie, The Heiress, Grace.
I sent one to James Franco before his little scandal and before people started showing some sort of response. I had hoped because of the scandal he'd sign a few for fans hoping that might redeem the situation (you know he's lost some from it). But you are always a hit a miss anyways.
I sent one to Michael C. Hall so I hope I get a response.
My biggest problem was when I see people in person and they act snobbish to you--or rude. Jake Gyllenhaal refused to sign a photo. He had the stage manager walk out, tell everyone to put photos away, and then Jake came out. I kept mine out with the Playbill on top and my ticket stub to prove I actually saw the play, but he signed the Playbill and even took a pic (which was super nice) but wouldn't sign a photo. I don't get it--you have time to pose for photos, but not sign ONE photo??? I still admire him as an actor, but the pedestal I kept him on has been shortened....
