Andy McKean is currently serving as Member of the Iowa House of Representatives from the 58th district since January 2017. In 2019 he switched from Republican to Democrat and gave a speech about why he left the GOP and how he believes that the GOP got too extreme. On 10/09/2019 I mailed a letter explaining how I find State Representatives McKean's work to be very inspiring to me at:
