Wow, I am surprised ebay actually took it off. I mean this item was so obviously fake, it's nice to see something was done.

About the sharpie thing. Actually any celebrity can sign in a sharpie, unless they died before sharpies were invented. So any celebrity that died before 1964 (the year black sharpies were invented) can not have singed with a sharpie. Also color sharpies like blue and other colors weren't released until I believe somewhere in the 80's.

(wow never seen a sentence before that had the word sharpie in it so many times) :lol:

Actually Diana was known to sign some items using sharpies or other felt pens like Sharpies

Firstly, e-bay is absolute rubbish for buying autographs {down}

Basically, there's more chance of walking to mars, then of getting, an authentic on e-bay.
Maybe 5% are ok, and please dont be taken in by the C.O.A, that you get with it to say it's authentic, this is not worth the paper it's written on {down}

It's far better, to write to the addresses on this website, at least you get answer's {thumb2}

Hi guilder1st {up}

Well spotted {thumb2} I too sent a complaint to eBay via their forgeries reporting form, reminding them that I am a registered (and vetted by MissionFish) eBay charity collector, selling autographed materials, and that I thought them allowing this item to be sold was next to supporting a deception of their members ;-)

They emailed back within an hour to say:
Thank you for writing eBay's SafeHarbor Department about listing 220177705278
which you would like us to investigate for fraudulent activity. We are concerned about
this type of activity and want to assure you that we will review your report immediately
Glad to hear it has been removed :D

Well the celeb might not bother to send it back if they don't wanna sign it or it could get lost in the mail or stolen. Plenty of bad things could happen. :cry:
