Congratulations, great story, and for landing your white whale. I've been able to get him ttm a couple of times, but never tried in person. Great inscription on your poster. {up}

Last march, I was lucky enough to have an encounter with legendary director William Friedkin
(The French Connection, The Exorcist), who attended the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF) to present his latest film: 'Killer Joe'.

I was there at the press conference where Mr Friedkin talked for nearly three hours about his latest pic and his impressive career.

Although the organisation had stated very strongly that Friedkin wouldn't be signing anything, nor should he be asked to, I reluctantly approached him with my Exorcist poster...

Since I had bought him a Belgian art book as a present, I guess it was impossible for him to refuse.
He asked we to follow him back to the festival offices, where -away from the crowd- he kindly signed and inscribed my piece of memorabilia.

I LOVE this success as Mr Friedkin had been my 'white whale' for some time and The Exorcist is one of my all time favorites. {up} {up} {up} {up}
I hope he liked the book I gave him. :D
