George Maharis (born September 1, 1928, Astoria, Queens, New York City) is an American actor who portrayed Buz Murdock in the first three seasons of the TV series Route 66. Maharis also recorded numerous pop music albums at the height of his fame, and later starred in the short-lived TV series The Most Deadly. He was also in a number of movies, and TV series as a guest star.

Sent him 2 photos (same as the one on his Wikipedia page) on 14 Jan and got both back signed on 27 Jan.. Also sent a note saying he appreciated my interest in his career..
