Hi all,
My name is Rhonda, and I'm new to this forum.
I'm a Dolphin's fan (born in 72 and raised properly by my father, lol.) My father had no boys, so was stuck with me (his oldest daughter) to be his sidekick. We watched football for hours every Sunday. According to my mother, I would sit with my father at the age 2, and not move from in front of the tv on Sundays. She said most kids watched cartoons for hours - me, it was football w/ my daddy.
I recently purchased an autographed helmet as a father's day present for my father, and realized it's missing Mr. Shula's autograph from the helmet (to me, the most important one.) Not because any of the players weren't worthy or cool... it's because I was too young to remember most of them from the 72 team. Shula was the recognized face on the field for me -- all thru my high school years and beyond.
I guess I should stop babbling...
I was wondering if the address above (Don Shula, Shula's Steak Houses, LLLP, 3020 NE 32nd Avenue, Ste 347, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33308) still works for autographs. I'd like to send the helmet in for Mr. Shula's autograph if he's still doing signatures. It would be the 'icing on the cake' for both my father and me.
If anyone has any info about such, please let me know.
Thanks,
Rhonda
