Robert Brown (born October 25, 1924) is a former third baseman and executive in professional baseball who served as president of the American League from 1984 to 1994. He also was a physician who studied for his medical degree during his eight-year (1946-52, 1954) career as a player with the New York Yankees.

Four-time World Series champion (1947; 1949–1951)
Batted .439 in 17 World Series games (18 hits in 41 at bats)
Elected sixth president of the American League

Sent him 2 cards from 1950 (not real ones, reproductions) on 12 Oct and got them back signed on Nov 6 2014 - Just think of all the big names he played along side of and played against during his career..
