I only send one page autograph requests, typewritten and double-spaced, and normally mention the roles I've enjoyed most from the person's career (for actors/actresses). I mentioned in my letter that I had been through her hometown of Staplehurst, and in her sticky note on the photo she said that I was the only person she knew who had been there.

A great success especially since she is 90 years old. What kind of letter did you write? Being a newcomer to this I am never sure what to write in my LOR's. I would expect they should be kept short and to the point.
