As part of the Hoy Bikes Tour, Sir Chris was in Glasgow this morning and I jumped on my ike and headed over to the park location where he was appearing. With the schools in, and it being 10am during the week, it was a quiet turn out for the event, and after a few cycles round the track with the kids who did make it, around 15 of us bigger kids headed off for a cycle around the park with him.
Very surreal just meandering around the park with Chris Hoy on the bike next to you chatting away. Really nice guy, as I knew from previous meetings with him, and a really fun morning.
Afterwards I managed...
3 x Signed Xmas Cards
1 x Signed CWCUK Running Vest
1 x Signed Team GB Red Tshirt (one of the ones I started work on last year, 30+ sigs)
1 x Signed Mini Gold Postbox Key Ring
He also did a photo with me and a pic holding the vest
Seriously awesome guy, always a pleasure to meet him.
